2 months

Cabin fever was setting in so we celebrated Robert's 2 month birthday with a rare venture out of the house for a little shopping at Nebraska Furniture Mart. He LOVES to go anywhere in the car (like his mommy!) and really enjoys a stroller ride.
Also, Great Aunt Kris was so nice to come and Robert-sit on Saturday evening so that Mom and Dad could have our first post-baby date.

Robert's 2 month well-child visit went great. He's up to 12 pounds 15.5 ounces and 24.5 inches in length! He has already almost outgrown all of his 3-6 month clothes! He got several shots at his doctor's visit and he was a real trooper, crying for only about a minute. Mommy, on the other hand, nearly threw up!

I have 4 weeks left of maternity leave and am already dreading my return to work and leaving him at daycare full-time. Mike and I paid a visit to St. Therese and it made me feel somewhat better because all of the teachers there are SO nice and the kiddos in Robert's classroom all looked really happy. Robert's big project right now is working on cooing and laughing.
