Today I spent the day elbow deep in potting mix! I planted all of my annuals and herbs as well as a couple of container tomato plants. It was hot, dirty, hard work and boy was I exhausted when I was finished. The good part is that our place looks a lot more lively and I’ll get to enjoy the flowers, basil, peppers, and tomatoes all summer long! Hopefully the squirrels won't mow everything down!

I like marigolds.
ReplyDeleteWatch those squirrels! They always eat my stuff. I use cayenne pepper to try to keep them away ... works (a little!).
