The second weekend in May we took a road trip with Mike's dad to St. Louis for Mike's cousin's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a blast visiting with all of the extended family. We took Mike's dad to do some sightseeing at the Anheiser-Busch brewery and to the St. Louis Arch. Check out these handsome dudes!

The third weekend in May we traveled to NYC to visit Mike's sister and brother-in-law. We had a BLAST and it was really great to see them! We spent some time in Central Park and took the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty.
We also took a trip up to the top of the Empire State Building and had an AWESOME meal in Chinatown.
Let me tell you that it is not easy to find public restrooms in Manhattan, especially when you are pregnant and need to find the ladies room at least once an hour! Also, I smelled some things that were downright WRONG on the subway. I grew up on a farm, so weird, gross smells don't phase me much. The air in the NYC subway tunnels, however, is like nothing that I have encountered before.
Memorial Day weekend we took another road trip to my hometown to visit my sister and parents. My nephews are 3-1/2 and almost 5 and were really wound up to see us. They went so crazy when we got there that they both stripped off all of their clothes, ran around the yard about 5 times naked, and jumped in their new kiddie pool. It was quite a sight! We love visiting our nephews as they never cease to entertain us with their antics!
Right now we're trying to get everything squared away before our closing on the condo. Everything went really well with our inspection, no surprises. Yay! Now we start the dreaded task of packing up everything. Ugh!
